These are
Intimate Works for Intimate Spaces.
Influenced by the works of Norman Lindsay and very much drawn to the beauty of the female form Patricia's love of painting these Ladies, although stylised, are a direct expression of what she herself feels is
to be a woman
and celebrates this femininity with all its voluptuousness
in shape and form.
Capturing their strengths and vulnerabilities
as well as their beauty.
Her gravitation towards the watercolour medium
seemed a natural choice facilitating this expression,
with its flow, unpredictability, and translucent like qualities all coming together to create
a collection she hopes over time will be a
Celebration of the Feminine.
She also continues to add to her collection of floral paintings themed 'For the Love Of Flowers' as well as adding to her series 'Ladies and the Instruments They Play'
Patricia hopes that you see the beauty within the pictures she loves to create.
