We camped along the Bridle Track on the Macquarie River at Easter - along with many others! The area still holds a special attraction even when shared with others and I painted small and sketched while there. This painting came from my onsite work once I was home.

The river oaks are very elegant agers and home to many creatures.

The watercolour was painted on Arches 300gsm cold pressed paper using Artists' Quality paints of the Winsor and Newton and Art Spectrum brands. The work is unframed at present.
